Southpaw Spray Company was originally started in 1990, known then as Tausan Weed Control, by Gerald Tausan. Gerald was the Sheridan County Weed Superintendent up until his retirement. In 2001, his Grandson, Seth Tausan, took over operations of Tausan Weed Control. Seth worked for his grandfather in the summers through high school and college. Since 2001, Seth has grown the business into what it is today, Southpaw Spray Company LLC and sister company Southpaw Aerial Company LLC. Southpaw Spray Co. LLC specializes in noxious and invasive weed management, ground and aerial (drone) applications, scouting, imaging, and monitoring of noxious and invasive species, interspersing seed and fertilizer, prairie dog management, mosquito and insect control, pesticide sales (to include noxious weeds, invasive species, lawn and ornamental herbicides, rodent and insect management.), to name a few.
